When you volunteer with the AAP, you are filling a vital need for resources and support available to physiatrists, building your network and CV, and creating a stronger workforce and specialty.

We offer leadership volunteering opportunities year-round. Each summer, we recruit new volunteers to serve on our Board of Trustees and Committees. Throughout the year, you can also serve by becoming a mentor, reviewing abstracts, volunteering at our Annual Meeting, and more.

The AAP is dedicated to recruiting a diverse volunteer workforce. Our volunteers help us continue existing research and work to deliver the best care to vulnerable patients around the world.
